The instability of the weather continues to take people from Alagoas by surprise, alternating days of strong sun and heat, with heavy showers of rain. The National Institute of Meteorology (Inmet) issued this Saturday (27) a rain alert for 68 municipalities in Alagoas. The weather warning is yellow, which means potential danger.
The notice is valid until 10am on Sunday (28). The forecast volume of rain is between 20 and 30 mm in one hour or up to 50 mm throughout the day. Intense winds are forecast, with speeds between 40 and 60 km/h. The risk of a power cut is low. There may be falling tree branches, flooding and electrical discharges.
In case of gusts of wind: (do not take shelter under trees, as there is a risk of falling and electrical discharges and do not park vehicles near transmission towers and advertising signs)
If possible, turn off electrical appliances and the general power supply.
