With the aim of helping mothers financially to raise their children, the Government of Pernambuco will deposit aid of R$300 for 100,000 women who live in the state. The amount is part of the Mães de Pernambuco program launched last Monday (25/03) and will cover those enrolled in Bolsa Família with NIS 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,0.

Payment of the benefit will begin in May and to access the amount you must be a Bolsa Família beneficiary and have updated CadÚnico (Cadastro Único) data.

Program registration

To enroll in the program, you must follow certain criteria established by the government.are they:

  • Live in Pernambuco;
  • Be a beneficiary of Bolsa Família and keep CadÚnico data updated;
  • Be responsible for the family;
  • ⁠Be pregnant, mother or responsible for a child up to 6 years old;
  • ⁠Not having formal employment.

If you meet these criteria, you must access the Mães de Pernambuco program website by April 25th to join. There, you must inform your date of birth and NIS.

When do payments start?

The first payment of the Mães de Pernambuco benefit must be made on May 13th. And, from June onwards, it will be held on the fifth working day of each month.

It is worth remembering that the amount will be paid as long as mothers have children under 6 years of age, according to information from the Government of Pernambuco.
