A criminal, identified as the leader of drug trafficking in the town known as Morro do Macaco, in the city of Barreiras, Far West of the state, died during a clash with the Military Police. The incident happened on Wednesday night, the 27th.

Initial information states that garrisons from the Independent Specialized Police Company (CIPE) Cerrado were informed that drugs belonging to a faction were in a residence in the Vale do Amanhecer neighborhood.

Upon arriving at the scene, the teams found a man, sitting in front of the house, guarding the space. With the police present, he ran inside the house, jumped over the backyard wall and managed to escape.

During the action, the police located another property, also linked to the same criminal group. According to preliminary information, the leader of drug trafficking from Morro do Macaco was found at the scene, who reacted to the approach, was injured in the fight and did not resist.

A 40-caliber pistol, three marijuana tablets and a scale were seized.
