Owners of vehicles registered in Sergipe have until this Wednesday, the 27th, to take advantage of the 10% discount offered to those who choose to pay the single quota of Motor Vehicle Ownership Tax (IPVA).
Payment can be made through the Single Collection Document (DUA), issued through the Sergipe State Traffic Department (Detran/SE) website – www.detran.se.gov.br -, or the Collection Document State (DAE), which is available on the website of the State Department of Finance (Sefaz) – www.sefaz.se.gov.br.
Sergipe has a fleet of 533,360 vehicles that must collect IPVA for the 2024 financial year. Of this total, around 80 thousand have already made the payment, which corresponds to approximately 15.1% of the total.
For those who do not choose to pay with the discount, the procedure can be carried out until the last business day of the month corresponding to the vehicle’s license plate on the calendar. Motor vehicles with plates ending 1 and 2 must make payment by April 30th, while those with endings 3 and 4 have a deadline of May 30th.
The schedule continues until the month of November, when the tax must be paid by owners of vehicles with license plate number 0. The amounts can be paid in up to ten installments via credit card, with the appropriate additions made by the operators.
