After 10 years, Murilo Couto is no longer part of the cast of “The Noite”, a talk show led by Danilo Gentili on SBT. In a statement released this Friday (26), the comedian reported that he made the post “crying”, thanked his co-workers and said he was “proud” to have been part of the program’s history.
“Today I just want to say thank you. There were 10 years of ‘The Noite’, on SBT, more than three of ‘Agora é Tarde’, on Band, and yesterday the last program aired with me officially in the cast. Just writing it makes me cry again”, he begins.
“Thank you Danilo Gentili for all these years, man. You are a true friend, a genius at work and an unbelievable partner outside of it. From the first test for ‘Agora é Tarde’ to the last program on ‘The Noite’. What you did for me doesn’t exist. I love you man”, he continues.
He goes on to thank the entire cast of the program, including members of the band “Ultraje a Rigor”, such as Mingau and Marcos Kleine. “Love you! How much I miss you, my God. Thank you João Mesquita [diretor do The Noite] and the entire team from the best program on Brazilian TV. 10 years without falling, 10 years renewing and innovating, 10 years remaining at its peak”, he highlights.
“Thank you to the entire stage team, playing a recording always full of bizarre things, and disturbed people! I miss you telling me to put on a woman’s dress or get into a hot costume quickly because the guest is already arriving (in 3 hours)”, continues the comedian.
He also thanks the team behind the cameras. “Thank you to the external team who gave me shit when recording stories in the most rotten places and most random fairs in Brazil. Thank you to the brilliant script team that writes and explains the jokes so that we can make fun of it on the screen later and say that it was improvised”, he says.
“Thank you to the team that produces the guests, who, despite all the difficulties, succeed in any talk show and podcast that has existed or will exist”, he adds. He continues: “The Noite can be hosting a Hollywood actor or a beggar from the Cathedral, it doesn’t matter, the program is the best because of the team there”, he states.
“I’m very proud to have been part of this story with you… It will be difficult to see myself out of this. I don’t even like to think too much for fear of regretting it. I’m already crying because I miss you again”, she says.
The comedian ends by thanking Silvio Santos’ broadcaster. “Thank you very much SBT for the trust, freedom and work environment. It was always my favorite channel as a child to this day, I even watch Otávio Mesquita, I don’t care. Thank you to everyone who has watched the show for so many years. You are part of very important moments in my life. Thank you”, he concludes.
