Christmas donations to Rio Grande do Sul

Rio Grande do Sul has received donations from all over Brazil after the floods that left several houses submerged and families homeless in several municipalities in the state. Some people lost practically all their material possessions.

And anyone who lives in Natal (RN) and wants to help rebuild the municipalities is also possible. There are points for donating materials and also PIX available for anyone who can contribute.

g1 brought together some of these points in the capital of Rio Grande do Norte for anyone who wants to help. See below:

• Where to donate: Rua dos Caicós, 2148 – Dix Sept Rosado, from 8am to 5pm
• What to donate: Cleaning material (soap, bleach, alcohol, disinfectant and detergent); personal hygiene material (soap, toothpaste, toothbrush, shampoo and sanitary pad); potable water; non-perishable food.

• Information: The LBV is receiving donations throughout Brazil. In Natal, donations will be supported by Azul Linhas Aéreas, which will transport the material collected and deliver it to the Civil Defense of Glorinha, in Rio Grande do Sul, in support of the victims of the rains. • Where to donate: Any CVC store. In Natal, for example, there are stores in the Cidade Jardim, Natal Shopping, Norte Shopping, Praia Shopping and Midway Mall shopping malls.
• Period: in 6th until 19th May
• What to donate: Clothes and shoes, bed linen (sheet, blanket) and towels
• Information: CVC is in partnership with Latam Brasil, Azul Linhas Aéreas, Gol and Jamef Transportes, with more than 1 thousand stores throughout Brazil. More information at: cvc.com.br/lp/omni/acaosolidariacvc.

• Where to donate: Natal Shopping (L2 Floor – Siding in front of Cacau Show)
• Period: until May 9th
• What to donate: Mattresses (new or in good condition), bed linen, bath linen, blankets, drinking water, animal food, closed basic food baskets.

• Information: Natal Shopping informed that it will have assistance from the Brazilian Air Force to transport the material collected. More information HERE.

• Where to donate: in any Riachuelo do Brasil store. In Natal, for example, there is a store in the Midway Mall.
• Period: from May 7th – no end date defined.
• What to donate: Blankets, pillows, cushions, underwear (new), winter clothes, personal hygiene products, diapers (infant and geriatric), mineral water, pet food and dewormers, cleaning products.
• Tips: Donations sanitized and in good condition; organized by category (children’s, women’s, bed items…); pairs of shoes tied together with shoelaces; Pack securely and use plastic bags to protect.
• Information: According to Riachuelo, the collection points are the result of a partnership with the Red Cross.

• Where to donate: all 47 company stores in Brazil are receiving donations. In Grande Natal, the store is in Nova Parnamirim, on the BR-101 roadside, corner of R. Maria Dolores Costa, 30.
• What to donate: Donations of food, hygiene kits, clothes, shoes and animal feed are being accepted.
• Period: There is no set deadline for the end of the campaign.
• Information: All donations will be directed to the Civil Defense of Rio Grande do Sul. More information HERE.
