Singer MC Koringa is one of the several artists asking for help from Anderson Leonardofrom Molejo, who has been hospitalized for over a month with cancer in the inguinal region. This week, the musician’s team informed him that he needs a blood donation.
In a video released on Instagram stories, Koringa warned: “Our dear Anderson Leonardo, from Molejo, is in urgent need of blood donors. So if you can be a donor and give us a boost”, he says, ending with his friend’s catchphrase. “This will be really good,” he said.
In addition to Koringa, Compadre Washington, Buchecha, Kelly Key and Gracyanne Barbosa also released the information in favor of the singer’s health.

In October 2022, Anderson Leonardo reported that he was diagnosed with cancer in the inguinal region and, in January 2023, he said he was cured. In May of that year, the artist was diagnosed again with cancer in this area and has been undergoing treatment ever since. The inguinal region is in the groin, where the end of the belly meets the beginning of the thigh.
On February 27, the singer was admitted to a private hospital in Rio de Janeiro, where he underwent immunotherapy and received medication for pain. On March 13th, the Molejo singer went through a procedure for hypogastric nerve plexus block for pain.
On the 19th of the same month, the artist was discharged after 21 days in hospital. After leaving the place, he recorded in the studio and appeared happily in videos on social media. However, on March 24, five days after being discharged, he was taken to the hospital again. According to the artist’s advisor, Anderson needs “prayers”.
Anderson has been hospitalized for a month. Within this period, he was taken to the ICU twice, being the most recent on Sunday (21). Anderson has cancer inguinal region. In a bulletin sent to Itatiaia this Monday (22), the hospital highlights that the artist “was transferred to the intensive care unit” and there is no “high forecast” for the location.
