The Sertão stage of the Pernambuco Literary Circuit (CLIPE) started this Monday (6). The project aims to bring discussions about education, diversity and racial equality to all regions of the state. The initiative is carried out by the Department of Education and Sports (SEE) and was launched on April 22, in Caruaru, Agreste.

This Monday, the project was taken to Serra Talhada, in Sertão do Pajeú, taking the theme “Peripheral cultures of ancestral knowledge: education, diversity and equity”. The program continues until May 11th in the municipality and employees of the State Department of Education, whether permanent or contracted, will be able to purchase books and teaching materials through the Book Bonus. P

Teachers will have R$ 1 thousand in credits, while analysts and assistants will have R$500. More than 13 thousand professionals linked to the department are expected to participate in the Literary Circuit in the Sertão, according to the Secretary of Education and Sports, Ivaneide Dantas.

“We decentralized an action that has now become public policy, guaranteeing the presence of the State from the Coast to the Sertão through a large literary fair, debating diversity, the culture of our ancestors and working on peripheral culture. Debates, cultural exhibitions and presentations are held here artistic arts. The Literary Circuit is also a great opportunity for our professionals to use the Book Bonus to acquire more knowledge.“, highlighted Raquel Lyra.

The card that entitles you to purchase books is distributed by regional education departments to employees days before the fair takes place in each of its stages.

The third and final phase of CLIPE, called the Metropolitan Region and Zonas da Mata Stage, will be held at the Arena de Pernambuco, in São Lourenço da Mata, in Greater Recife, from May 29th to June 5th.
