Anya Taylor-Joy opens ‘secret wedding’ photo album, and unusual cake shape goes viral

Eccentricity in the world of stars? We have! Anya Taylor-Joy, from “The Queen’s Gambit” and “Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga”, surprised her followers twice, this Tuesday (2). The actress revealed that she had secretly married Malcolm McRae, on April 1, 2022, and shared some photos from the ceremony. However, what really caught our attention was the cake chosen by the couple in the shape of a human heart.

Anya was wearing a wedding dress made by the Dior brand, designed with some birds and a long veil. In one of the clicks, she and McRae also appear alongside actress and model Cara Delevingne. At the end of the carousel, the couple appeared sitting at a table with two “anatomically correct heart” cakes, as described by the star herself.

In addition to the post on her feed, Taylor-Joy also posted a video on her Instagram stories eating the candy alongside her husband, laughing and taking some photos. In the caption, she even joked about the unusual choice for the occasion. “Yes, these are anatomically correct heart cakes. Yes, I am the vampire Lestat.”he wrote, probably referring to the vampire character Lestat de Lioncourt, from Anne Rice’s novels.

Still in the publication, the actress commented on her secret marriage to Malcolm McRae, and celebrated the date. “Two years ago, on April Fools’ Day, I secretly married my best friend in New Orleans. A year later, the two made one of their first public appearances as a couple at the pre-Oscar party in Los Angeles.
