The Tabatinga Labor Court carried out an important initiative by extending its services to the municipalities of Santo Antônio de Iça and São Paulo de Olivença through the Itinerant Justice, providing the population with easier access to essential legal services. During the 4th to 6th of April 2024, the Itinerant Justice was in Santo Antônio de Iça, carrying out assessments and providing information on the procedural progress.
As highlighted in the General Report of Itinerancy Activities, during this period 3 assessments were carried out and 10 pieces of information were provided on procedural progress, covering guidance and clarifications on various topics. A total of 13 people were served, demonstrating the reach and effectiveness of this itinerant service.
Subsequently, the Tabatinga Labor Court moved to the municipality of São Paulo de Olivença, where it carried out assessments between the 15th and 18th of April 2024. Again, 3 assessments were carried out and 13 information on procedural progress was provided, totaling the serving 13 people.
This initiative reinforces the Tabatinga Labor Court’s commitment to bringing quality legal services to the most distant communities, ensuring that everyone has equal and effective access to justice, regardless of their geographic location.
The presence of Itinerant Justice in these locations demonstrates the importance of initiatives that aim to make legal services more accessible and inclusive for all citizens, promoting equal access to justice and the protection of labor rights.
