French President Emmanuel Macron said he considers sending ground troops to Ukraine in the future
Russia stated this Wednesday morning (May 8, 2024) that if French President Emmanuel Macron sends ground troops to Ukraine, they will be seen as legitimate targets by the Russian military. Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova spoke at a press conference in Moscow. The information is from Reuters.
The French leader has said since February 2024 that he does not rule out the possibility of sending military ground troops to Ukraine. Macron also warned that if Russia beats Ukraine, the country’s credibility will be reduced to zero in Europe.
