Two children, twin sisters, just three years old
were found lifeless in a swimming pool at the back of the house where they lived in Phoenix

, were called around 3:30 pm to respond to a drowning incident in a swimming pool. When they arrived at the scene, they found the two children in need of medical help.
According to authorities, the twins were removed from the pool alive and were admitted to a local hospital in critical condition. However, they were pronounced dead hours after arriving at the scene. Local police are investigating the accident.
Second case of domestic drowning in Phoenix
This is the second case of drowning of a child
in the city in the same week. On Sunday (28), a two-year-old boy also drowned in a domestic pool in Phoenix.
In this case, firefighters were called around 4:15 pm and found the child not breathing. The family performed resuscitation procedures before authorities arrived, but it was not enough to save the child, according to firefighters.
