Identity of the real Martha from ‘Baby Reindeer’ REVEALED? Web discovers stalker post by Richard Gaad cited in series

Based on a true story,”Baby Reindeer” has been causing a lot of speculation on the internet and the first of them is: who is the real Martha? In the plot, a rising comedian is being pursued by a woman he meets in a bar and, following the success of the Netflix series, fans started hunting for the identity of the stalker. Internet users investigated and came across a very suspicious profile, of a woman named Fiona Harvey.

Why do ‘Baby Rena’ fans suspect Fiova Harvey?

In “Baby Reindeer”, the character played by Richard Gadd, Donny, received around 41 thousand emails, 350 hours of voicemails, 744 tweets, 46 Facebook messages, 106 pages of letters and strange gifts, such as pills to sleep in, a woolen hat, underwear and, of course, a reindeer toy, for almost four years.

On X, formerly Twitter, internet users recovered tweets that could be convincing clues that Richard Gadd’s real-life stalker is Fiona Harvey. First, a series of old tweets from an account with her name resurfaced online. The account @FionaHarvey2014 made a series of messages aimed at Gadd that same year. “My curtains need to be hung badly,” said one tweet that mentioned the actor.

This line was even referenced in one of the episodes of “Baby Rena”, leading fans to believe even more that Fiona could actually be the real Martha.

Suspect admits sending emails and talks about Pub in her tweets

Additionally, she admits to sending emails to Gaad and asking about them on X. Fans further suspect that the Camden Pub, where Donny works as a bartender in the series, is based on the Hawley Arms Pub. On June 12, 2014, she wrote, “@MrRichardGadd your tweets cheer me up. I haven’t been able to get into Hawley the last three Saturdays. Your schedule is good.”

But does not stop there! In addition to the tweets, fans also discovered an old article mentioning a restraining order against Fiona by her former boss named Laura.

Despite so many clues, Richard Gadd has not confirmed whether she is the real Martha who pursued him years ago and asked them to put an end to the suspicions. “Hi everyone, people I love, worked with, and admire are unfairly being caught up in speculation. Please don’t speculate about who anyone could be in real life. That’s not the point of our show.”

Fiona’s account appears to have been inactive for a while.
