Motorola started, this Wednesday (08), official sales of the Edge 50 Fusion in Brazil. The brand’s new mid-range cell phone arrives to expand the line that debuted on the Brazilian market with the Edge 50 Pro, highlighting its premium design with curved screen, advantageous cameras and high battery charging power.

It is worth remembering that the Edge 50 Fusion is equipped with a 6.7-inch screen with pOLED technology, Full HD+ resolution (1080 x 2,400 pixels) and 120 Hz refresh rate. There is a centralized hole at the top of the panel that houses a camera 32 MP front camera, which features an f/2.45 lens aperture and video recording in up to 4K @ 30 FPS.

At the rear, there is a double set of cameras represented by the main lens with 50 MP sensor, which has f/1.88 aperture and optical image stabilization (OIS). The second camera is “hybrid” with a 13 MP sensor, serving as a wide-angle lens with a 120º field of view and featuring a macro photography mode.

The Edge 50 Fusion is powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1, a mid-range platform from Qualcomm. This hardware, manufactured using 4-nanometer lithography, sports an 8-core CPU clocked at up to 2.2 GHz and an Adreno 710 GPU.

In the memory department, there is a single configuration available on the national market that combines 8GB RAM with 256GB internal storage. With the “RAM Boost” function, the cell phone can separate 8 GB of internal storage to use as virtual memory, improving multitasking performance.

The battery has a capacity of 5,000 mAh and supports fast charging with a power of 68 W. In terms of connectivity, there is support for the 5G network, dual-band Wi-Fi (2.4 GHz and 5 GHz), Bluetooth 5.2 and contactless payments with NFC. Other specifications include its under-screen fingerprint reader, IP68 certification and the Android 14 system.

The Motorola Edge 50 Fusion is now available at the manufacturer’s official store for R$2,999. Cash payments yield a discount of up to 15%, lowering the price of the cell phone to R$2,699.10. There are currently two color options available on the website: dark blue and pink. The light blue option is unavailable on the platform.
