Electronic Arts CEO Andrew Wilson revealed that future Battlefield experiences are being developed by the largest team in the franchise’s history. Last month, the company announced that the Motive studio, responsible for the remake of Dead Space and Star Wars: Squadrons, would join the team.

Now, Motive works with other EA studios like DICE, Criterion and Ripple Effect to create a large Battlefield universe connected by multiplayer and single-player experiences.

During a meeting to discuss EA’s financial results, Wilson said he had the opportunity to see what they are creating. He said he was excited by what the team showed him. Furthermore, the executive confirmed that he played a part of the new Battlefield.

Lastly, Wilson said that he spent a good amount of time with the team developing the game and promised that the next Battlefielded will be a tremendous game as a service. However, the executive did not give a release date for the game or when a trailer will be released.

Recently, EA confirmed that season 7 Turning Point of Battlefield 2042 released in March will be the game’s last. With this, all teams will focus fully on the next chapter of the saga.

In addition to bringing news about the new Battlefield, EA confirmed that it will launch two games, which have not yet had their names revealed, this fiscal year. In other words, the games will hit the market by March 31, 2025.

According to information from EA, one of them will be from a third-party developer, while the other is based on EA’s intellectual property. It is believed that the second could be the highly anticipated Dragon Age: Dreadwolf.
