Invisibility Shield Co. has developed a invisibility “cloak” inovador, now available for purchase on Kickstarter, a crowdfunding site. Based in London, the company launched the second generation of its device, which can be purchased for more than €300 (R$1,600).
The new version of the equipment promises to be light and portable, and can be easily carried in a bag. The success of the shield was such that, in crowdfunding, where the initial goal was to raise €10,000 (approximately R$55,000), contributions have already exceeded €86,000 (approximately R$470,000), coming from more than 350 participants.

The cover is available in three sizes: Mini, 20 centimeters high; Full Size, 1 meter; and Megashield, which reaches 1.8 meters. The company also offers transport bags for the products.
Made from a curved polycarbonate plate, the “Invisibility Shield” is held upright by a transparent structure on the back, with built-in lenses across the entire area of the device. Using a set of lenses that reflect lights from the background of the hidden object or person, the shield makes things invisible to the observer, diffusing the bands of light from what is behind the shield and hiding their visibility.
