A trailer loaded with bar soap suffered an accident at km 688 of BR-381, Fernão Dias, in the Lavras region, Minas Gerais. Shortly after the incident, several people gathered at the location to loot the cargo.

Upon the arrival of the Federal Highway Police, three people involved in the crime were arrested, two men aged 52 and 29 and a 36-year-old woman.

In addition to the arrests, the PRF seized a Fiat/Uno Mille car from one of the looters, when, when analyzing its identification elements, they found signs of tampering in the place where the engine number was marked, with marks of abrasive material and loss of porosity original surface.

Therefore, the perpetrators were sent, together with the seized vehicle, to the Judicial Police in Lavras (MG) for the appropriate legal procedures.

Still during the action, the PRF team managed to recover a large part of the cargo that had been looted and was hidden in a bush near the scene of the incident.
