Microsoft’s acquisition of Activision Blizzard in October 2023 was a significant milestone for the gaming industry, promising to bring a number of popular titles to Xbox Game Pass. Expectations are high for renowned games such as Call of Duty, Prototype, Crash Bandicoot and Tony Hawk to be integrated into the subscription service, offering even more value to Xbox subscribers.

While the exact date of when these games will be available on Xbox Game Pass has not yet been officially announced, there are indications that we won’t have to wait long. According to recent information, Diablo 4, one of Activision Blizzard’s titles, has already won new fans after its launch on Xbox Game Pass. This suggests that Microsoft is actively working to add more Activision Blizzard games to the service soon.

Jez Corden, from Windows Central, recently stated that such games are coming to Xbox Game Pass, but he doesn’t know if they will be announced separately, as was the case with Diablo IV, or if there will be a big event, as has happened with several Bethesda games. . Most likely it will be in June, if this is done at an event.

Additionally, based on previous Microsoft acquisitions like Bethesda, it’s possible we’ll see a gradual integration of Activision Blizzard games into Game Pass. For example, after the Bethesda purchase, several titles were added to Game Pass in less than a week. This could serve as a precedent for what to expect with Activision Blizzard games.
