O Steam has just received Landfall’s new co-op horror game, “Content Warning” — and is now available for free download. In the game, players join groups in a mission to capture the most terrifying monstrosities possible in an attempt to go viral on the internet.
The goal is clear: film as many scary scenes as possible before you run out of oxygen or, even worse, your friends. If you survive, return to the diving bell to transport your team back to the surface. Then upload the footage to the fictional platform SpookTube and wait for the views to increase.
Each round lasts three days, where your ability to capture scary moments and the revenue generated by the videos on SpookTube will determine your internet fame. And if your team accumulates enough views in three days, you can continue your career and improve your equipment.
Key features also include a portable video camera with the ability to record and save footage, online cooperative gameplay, voice chat, ASCII face customization, and more.
