Santos removes Bruno Marques and reaches eleven athletes in ‘Group B’

The Football Department of Santos decided to remove striker Bruno Marques to ‘Group B’. The same Department had decided to request the return of the loan of the center forward, who was at Marítimo (Portugal), in February. Three months later, the boy is no longer part of Peixe’s plans and has only been involved in one match since then.

Bruninho joins goalkeeper Paulo Mazoti, defenders Leo Zabala, Derick and Thiago Balieiro, full-backs Pedrinho Scaramussa and Cadu and midfielders João Victor ‘Balão’, Kevin Malthus, Ivonei and Rafael Moreira, who are also training separately. He was on the bench for Alvinegro in the 3-1 victory over Red Bull Bragantino, at Neo Química Arena, in the Paulistão semi-final. He had been entered into List A.

When Peixe brought the player back, they had commented that they would give the athlete chances at a time when the club was going through Transferban. This did not happen in the state championship and he hopes to play in Series B since he was even training as a starter. Some proposals from the same division had arrived, but the board asked to hold them.

Then came the proposal from the Remo-PA, which was refused by the athlete, who was waiting for a space with coach Fábio Carille or would even accept offers from Series B. Afterwards, Alexandre Gallo, football coordinator, decided to remove Bruno. He is now waiting for the mid-year window and his Santos contract ends in December.

If he were still at Marítimo, his contract would now be ending in Portugal.

HISTORIC

Before the loan to Marítimo, Bruninho had returned to Baixada Santista after the end of the loan to Arouca (Portugal), but the club had missed the definitive purchase priority deadline, which ended on May 31st. Without large resources, the club tried to renegotiate the value, which was not defined.

He is 25 years old and was bought by Peixe after a loan period at Santos. To maintain it, Peixe had to pay R$600,000 in three installments to Lagarto for 70% of the economic rights. The former team got 30%. At Santos, there were 33 games and four goals scored.
