The technician of LDUJosep Alcácer, tried to put pressure on the team’s side Botafogo planning next Wednesday’s duel at the Nilton Santos Stadium, for the fourth round of Group D of the Libertadores.

– As it is their last game at home, Botafogo will leave with the need to add. According to the cast, they were the favorites in the group, they started badly and now they are in a situation of need. For them it is a decisive game, and for us it is important – said Alcácer.

Group D is quite tight, with Junior Barranquilla in the lead with five points, LDU and Universitario tied with four and Botafogo with three.

Alcácer also highlighted Botafogo’s evolution under the command of coach Artur Jorge. The black and white coach debuted precisely in the first game against LDU, in Quito, when Glorioso ended up losing 1-0.

– Change is important. There at Casa Blanca it was the coach’s debut. What we saw in the last games, of which the team won five, is that the team improved, because it is stronger offensively and more reliable in defense – assessed the LDU coach.

The Ecuadorian team held their last training session this Tuesday before the game at Fluminense’s CT, in Barra da Tijuca.
