The group of surfers led by Pedro Scooby and Lucas Chumbo is already working on Rio Grande do Sul soil. The big riders arrived in Porto Alegre on Monday afternoon and entered the waters that invaded the capital of Rio Grande do Sul and the metropolitan region to rescue flood victims.

The surfers brought jet-skis, which they usually use when tow-in, and vests to help people, in addition to contributing supplies to add to the donations that are multiplying in the state to minimize the impact of losses.

Throughout the journey, the convoy, which also includes names such as Ian Cossenza, Felipe Cesarano, Will Santana, Michelle des Bouillons, recorded the moments of the journey, as well as the unforeseen events.

The survey also shows 149.3 thousand people away from home, 20 thousand in shelters and 129.2 thousand homeless (in the homes of family or friends). In total, 364 of the state’s 496 municipalities recorded some type of problem, affecting 873 thousand people.
