Jamahal Hill remains focused on his desire to get a rematch with Alex Poatan. In an interview with the channel ‘Inside Fighting’, the American said that he no longer cares about the belt, however, he promised to achieve a dominant victory over the current light heavyweight champion (up to 93kg), in the event of a reunion.

“I have every intention of fighting Alex again, I don’t care about the belt at the moment. It’s about getting back into this fight to be able to show what it really is… I feel like by doing that, I definitely dominate this fight,” said Hill.

After more than a year away due to injury, Jamahal returned to the octagon in the main fight of the historic UFC 300 held on April 13th. After much provocation, Hill had no chance against the champion Alex Poatan and was brutally knocked out in the first round.
