Flamengo idol Zico was asked this Friday (03) about the controversial statement by the club’s president, Rodolfo Landim, who told ‘ge’ this week, that “one day Zico will pass”. The agent explained the conversation he had with Gabigol to convince him to renew with the Flamengo.
Zico, two days ago, posted a video on social media with a caption of ‘indirect’: “I heard, it will pass, it will pass and I ended up passing everyone and doing one more for Fla”. This Friday, however, Galinho avoided the topic of Landim’s speech.
“I have nothing to say about this. Brazil is a democracy, everyone says what they want,” she said, according to ‘ge’, at the Zico Football Center in Minas Gerais.
At the place, where he was accompanied by several children, the idol thanked them for their affection and ended up returning to the topic of “passing” or not.
“Thank your grandparents and parents, because they make the kids’ minds (about the legacy). But today it’s easy, you can’t lie to the kids, because there’s everything on social media,” he said.
“No matter how much the father or grandfather says, they will research. It may not be all that, but he (Zico) did a good thing, he did”, he added.
Flamengo above all
Galinho, despite the controversy, alleviated the situation when asked about Flamengo’s moment. He put the club above anything else.
“I’m a fan. I always want to see Flamengo winning, conquering, giving joy to the fans. For me, that’s what matters,” he said.
