Without maximum strength, Palmeiras debuts in the Libertadores against San Lorenzo

Exactly 181 days after being eliminated by Boca Juniors on penalties, Palmeiras begins a new journey towards the dream of Tetra da Libertadores. The opening opponent will be San Lorenzo.

Scheduled for 9:30 pm, the match will be played in Buenos Aires with broadcast from RGT and from ESPN.

Repeating what happened in 2023, Verdão will not have maximum strength in the first game because they are involved in the state title dispute. Some holders did not even travel to Argentina.

PTD’s lineup prediction is: Marcelo Lomba; Garcia, Gómez, Luan and Piquerez; Fabinho, Gabriel Menino and Richard Ríos; Caio Paulista, Breno Lopes and Rony.

Schedule: The second game for the continental competition will take place next week (11/4) against Liverpool, at home.
