Hired by UFC via ‘Contender Series’ in October, Victor Hugo Silva has been having difficulty debuting in the biggest MMA organization in the world. The Brazilian would face Alateng Heili this Saturday (6), in Las Vegas (USA), but the fight was canceled for unknown reasons. In any case, ‘Striker’ remains at the event, waiting for a new opponent. The information was confirmed by the report from Ag. Fight with sources close to the company.
This wasn’t the first time the Brazilian had problems in the UFC. In November, ‘Striker’ was selected by the organization to perform at the event held in São Paulo, but, as he failed at the weigh-in, he ended up being removed from it. Now, the athlete, eager to fight for the first time in the company, is hoping to compete this Saturday.
