There was no official schedule for Corinthians on Sunday. Behind the scenes, however, the My Timon I learned exclusively about a “ritual” between coach António Oliveira and midfielder Paulinho, who always hears the following words from him when he comes across the commander: “The legend is coming”. The Corinthian idol also detailed the work of the Portuguese technical committee in the day-to-day life of CT Joaquim Grava.
O My Timon also made a profile on the 16-year-old Dieguinho, who was one of the 15 players from the youth teams registered in the Copa Sudamericana, in addition to having trained with the professional squad last Saturday. A midfielder, the young man even went viral last month with a great goal in training for the Under-17 team and received praise from football executive Rubens Gomes, known as Rubão, who called the boy a “jewel”.
Unlike Dieguinho, midfielder Gabriel Moscardo was not registered for the Copa Sudamericana. The player is still recovering from surgery on his left foot. Sold to PSG, from France, he has a loan agreement with Corinthians until June 2024, but he still faces uncertainty at Parque São Jorge in the remaining two months of his contract.
