It’s going to be chilling! A Netflix released this Tuesday the first teaser for the miniseries ”Senna”, a fiction production inspired by the story of the Brazilian hero of the Formula 1Ayrton Senna.
Playing the role of the pilot is the Brazilian actor Gabriel Leone – who was recently in the film ”Ferrari” which told a little more about the story of the founder of Scuderia, Enzo Ferrari.
”Senna” will be portrayed in six episodes telling the three-time world champion’s trajectory on the track, as well as his relationships outside of it and his entire personal life. The story will show from Ayrton’s trip to England until the fateful accident in Imola, during the San Marino GP on May 1, 1994 – a date that turns 30 next Wednesday.
Some notable names and characters in the pilot’s trajectory will be portrayed, such as Alain Prost, Niki Lauda, James Hunt, Frank Williams, Adriane Galisteu, Xuxa, Nelson Piquet, Jean-Marie Balestre, Ron Dennis and Galvão Bueno.
The premiere date has not yet been confirmed by Netflix, but the streaming platform guarantees that the miniseries will be available in the catalog later this year. The recordings took place in Brazil, Argentina, Uruguay and the United Kingdom.
