Sinner lifts his 13th career title, his second Masters 1000 and first at the event in Miami where he made his third final. The season continues to be brilliant now with 22 wins in 23 matches, with the only defeat in the semi-final of the Masters 1000 in Indian Wells, California, against Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz.

Speaking of which, Sinner will surpass Alcaraz and become the new number two in the world, just below Novak Djokovic in the ATP rankings. Dimitrov leaves the tournament with good feelings, guaranteeing his return to the top 10 after almost six seasons.

Fast game

The game started in favor of Dimitrov who had a chance to break in the fourth game. Sinner saved himself and then pressed, broke and closed 6/3 in 42 minutes. Confidence spoke louder and the Italian broke the score to make it 4-1 and closed with another break for 6/1.
