Max Verstappen doesn’t seem excited about the new film being made about Formula 1 starring Brad Pitt. The feature film, still without a defined title, has Lewis Hamilton as one of the producers and tells the story of a veteran driver (played by Pitt) who needs to mold a young promise in the category.

Despite recognizing Brad Pitt’s talent in films, such as Ocean’s Eleven, and even having watched some excerpts of footage during a GP, Verstappen told the Formula 1 Magazine website that he has no interest in watching a fictional production about the sport you practice.

“I don’t need to watch a film about my own category. It’s a made-up scenario, which means it’s going to be dramatized. I don’t like it very much”, said the Dutch driver.

Verstappen’s stance towards productions that portray Formula 1 is already known. The pilot avoided participating in some seasons of the Netflix series ‘Drive to Survive’, believing that the stories were exaggerated. Only from 2022, after agreements signed with the platform, did Verstappen return to being filmed for the documentary.
