About 25 tornadoes struck at least three US states. U.S, destroyed hundreds of homes and left people injured. There is no information about deaths. The information comes from the portals O Globo, CNN and G1.
April is the month with the highest number of tornadoes in the country. The states of Kansas, Nebraska and Texas were hit last Friday (26). Three other states, Iowa, Missouri and Oklahomawent into a state of alert.
Some people were injured. Police and fire teams were called to assist residents who were trapped among the rubble or in the basements of their homes.
Hundreds of properties were destroyed by a tornado and at least two people were injured in the city of Omaha, Nebraska. In the same state, in Lancaster County, a tornado damaged a building, where three people were injured.
The Omaha fire chief told CBS broadcaster the consequences of the tornadoes: “Many homes are destroyed and many also have significant damage. We have power outages, downed power lines, gas leaks, unstable structures, downed trees.”
The tornado warning in the United States is maintained until this Sunday (28), from the region of Nebraska to Texas, which includes Dallas, Austin, Oklahoma City, Tulsa, Kansas City and Wichita.
