Fans, friends and family will be able to say goodbye to singer Anderson Leonardo, from Molejo, this Sunday (28), in Rio de Janeiro. The artist died this Friday (26), victim of inguinal cancer.
The wake will be from 11am to 3:30pm, at the Jardim da Saudade Cemetery (Address: Av. Carlos Pontes, 500 – Jardim Sulacap – Rio de Janeiro-RJ), Capela 09. Fans of the singer will be able to pay tribute to the Crown by contacting (21) 967333131, at the Santa Casa funeral home.
The singer left behind his daughter, Alessa Cristyne, 30, who is pregnant with Anderson’s first grandchildand children Rafael Phelipe, Alice and Leozinho Bradock.

In October 2022, Anderson Leonardo reported that he was diagnosed with cancer in the inguinal region and, in January 2023, he said he was cured. In May of that year, the artist was diagnosed again with cancer in this area and, from then on, started a new treatment. The inguinal region is in the groin, where the end of the belly meets the beginning of the thigh.
On February 27, the singer was admitted to a private hospital in Rio de Janeiro, where he underwent immunotherapy and received medication for pain. On March 13th, the Molejo singer went through a procedure for hypogastric nerve plexus block for pain.
On the 19th of the same month, the artist was discharged after 21 days in hospital. After leaving the place, he recorded in the studio and appeared happily in videos on social media. However, on March 24, five days after being discharged, he was taken to the hospital again. According to the artist’s advisor, Anderson needed “prayers”.
Anderson completed more than a month of hospitalization last Wednesday (24). Within this period, he was taken to the ICU twice, being the most recent on Sunday (21). Afterwards, the singer’s team announced that he needed blood donation. This morning, his health status progressed to very serious and he died.
