247 – The São Paulo Court denied the temporary arrest of Fernando Sastre de Andrade Filho, driver of the Porsche that collided with a Sandero and killed an app driver in the capital of São Paulo. Speaking to the UOL portal, the driver’s defense cited the case as “a fatality” and declared that the boy did not flee the scene of the crime — as pointed out by the authorities. However, authorities indicate another version: Fernando would have fled the scene of the accident and not took a breathalyzer test, even with the presence of military police officers.

The case occurred on Avenida Salim Farah Maluf, east of São Paulo. According to witnesses interviewed by the Civil Police, the Porsche was traveling at high speed. The limit for the road is 50 km/h. Ornaldo da Silva Viana was rescued and taken in cardiorespiratory arrest to the Tatuapé Municipal Hospital, where he died.
