Police seek arrest of Porsche driver who caused accident in SP

Businessman Fernando Sastre de Andrade Filho, 25 years old, had his temporary arrest requested by the police after presenting himself this Monday afternoon (1st) at the 30th DP, in Tatuapé, in the east zone of São Paulo.

He was driving a Porsche 911 in the early hours of Sunday (31), when it collided with a Renault Sandero on Avenida Salim Farah Maluf, causing the death of the other driver and app driver, Orlando da Silva Viana, aged 52. After the raid, he fled the scene accompanied by his mother.

Daniela Cristina de Medeiros Andrade had informed the agents who were at the scene that she would take her son to a hospital, but she did not go to the unit that she herself recommended to the police.

Within this context, the case was registered as fleeing the scene of an accident, bodily injury while driving a motor vehicle and manslaughter (without intention) while driving a motor vehicle.

Police chief Nelson Vinicius told reporters after the testimony that the businessman was charged with intentional homicide: “He used the car as a weapon.”

In a note sent to iG Portal via email, the Public Security Secretariat (SSP/SP) informed that after Fernando gave his statement, he was criminally indicted for intentional homicide, bodily injury and fleeing the scene of an accident and that the case remains under investigation to determine the conduct of military officers at the time of the accident.
