Sarto sends a bill to the Chamber with a 4.62% adjustment for municipal employees – PontoPoder

The mayor of Fortaleza, José Sarto (PDT), sent this Monday (1st), to the City Council, the bill that establishes adjustment of 4.62% to municipal employees.

According to the Chief Executive, 3.62% of the increase will be granted in the April payroll, paid in May, retroactively to January, reaching 4.62% as of the June payroll. The annual impact of the adjustment, according to him, is R$215 million.

“In addition to the adjustment, we will also increase the ceiling for receiving meal allowances, from R$6,000 to R$8,200, benefiting more than 12,000 employees. With the increase in the benefit, which goes from R$15 to R$ 16.20, and with the expansion of the group of employees covered, the City Hall will disburse R$ 6.7 million per year”, continued Sarto.

Job and career plan

Sarto also stated that, taking into account the professional category, he will change ten job, career and salary plans, with the expansion of the progression and promotion matrix, “allowing employees, who are currently stagnant in their career, to have more possibilities for advancement.”
