A child aged 1 year and 8 months was found accompanied by a dog on a busy street in Belém (PA) in the early hours of this Wednesday (27).

The city’s Municipal Guard went to respond to a call in the central region of the capital and came across the boy walking down the street while being protected by a caramel dog. The agents filmed the moment of rescue, when the animal jumped into the lap of the police officer who caught the child. Check out:
The team stated that the baby was lost and without clothes on Avenida Duque de Caxias. To find the boy’s family, the guards turned on the siren and walked through Marco’s neighborhood. Then, they found an open gate at Travessa do Chaco. The parents woke up and managed to welcome their son.
Those responsible were taken to give a statement to the Brás Sectional Police Station, and reported that they did not notice the child leaving because they were tired. The parents, who work as street food vendors, reported that they arrived home at 2am, took a shower and went to sleep.
The disclosure of the case generated diverse reactions on social media. “My God! Someone has to go to that house and make sure this child isn’t always left alone.”commented one user. “Wouldn’t that be abandonment of the incapable?”asked another.
On the other hand, some people focused on the positive aspects of the situation. “Congratulations on the service garrison.
