The documentary series about one of the biggest rock bands, ‘Thank You, Goodnight: The Bon Jovi Story’, is now available on Star+.

‘Thank You, Goodnight’ is a four-episode, exclusive access series chronicling the epic past and uncertain future of the iconic band Bon Jovi. A 40-year odyssey of rock n’ roll idolatry that teeters on the brink when a vocal injury puts everything at stake.

This will be the first documentary series about the band’s history with full cooperation from all former and current Bon Jovi members. It also promises to give viewers a glimpse into the life of lead singer, Jon Bon Jovi, behind the music. In the trailer, details of everything that was part of the band’s history told by them…Jon, Richie, David and Tico.

According to the Big Rock N’ Roll website, Gotham Chopra (“Kobe Bryant’s Muse”, “Man in the Arena”, “Tom vs. Time”) directed and executive produced the documentary. Alex Trudeau Viriato, credited with playing a critical creative role in shaping the series, produced and edited the documentary.

As moving as the story of a unique talent is, it’s even rarer that a legend like Jon Bon Jovi lets the world live his most vulnerable moments while he still lives them. Forty years of personal videos, unreleased demos, original lyrics and never-before-seen photos chronicle the Jersey boys’ journey to the biggest stages on the planet. The series relives the triumphs and setbacks, the biggest successes, the biggest disappointments and the most public moments of friction”, says the description, by Hulu, the platform where it will be shown, in the United States.
