This Tuesday, May 7th, Apple is holding its first event of the year to present the latest generations of the iPad Air and iPad Pro after having spent the entire year 2023 without announcing new tablets.
Called “Let Loose”, Apple’s special event starts at 11 am Brasilia time.
Where to watch the Apple event?
The live broadcast can be seen via Apple’s official YouTube channel, the company’s website or in the Apple TV app on any Apple device — be it iPhone, iPad, Mac or Apple TV.
What to expect from the Apple event?
Expected to last approximately 30 minutes, reliable rumors indicate that the Apple event will be dedicated to new iPad Air models, including a second, larger model for the first time and the iPad Pro with a redesigned look and maximum performance specifications.
Regarding the iPad Air, advance information suggests the use of an LCD screen in sizes of 11 and 12.9 inches, Apple M2 processor, design almost identical to the current one with a single rear camera and a horizontally positioned front camera.

The new iPad Pro is expected to have the best OLED screen on the market offering high brightness, accurate colors and deep blacks, an unprecedented Apple M4 chip not yet used in the brand’s products, updated design with horizontal Face ID, matte screen option with technology nano-texture, even thinner body and possible support for MagSafe.
There is also an expectation for the debut of at least two new accessories. The Apple Pencil 3 may gain support for a pinch gesture to change options, such as activating the eraser — something reinforced by the brand’s own website — and a vibration motor for tactile feedback that indicates the change.
The new Magic Keyboard should give up its impressive floating design to opt for a MacBook design with a more complete keyboard, larger trackpad and new functions.
