Tom Cruise made a rare appearance alongside his two children with Nicole Kidman, Isabella and Connor. Smiling, the star posed for a group photo, which included, in addition to his heirs, former American football player Derrick Brooks.

The recording was made in December 2023 during a hockey match, but only now has the image gained prominence in the media. Brooks, 51, was responsible for posting the photo on Instagram for his just over 26,000 followers.

“Good evening! Look who stopped by my office before our [Tampa Bay Lightning] today’s game!”, the former NFL athlete wrote in the caption. “I was a little disoriented, but I pretended to be used to it. He said he did the same thing,” he added, using laughing emojis.

In the photo, Cruise, 61, is on Brooks’ right side, while Connor, 29, is on his left. Bella, 31, also appears, but only her face is visible, a little further in the background.

According to the website Page Six, this is the first posed photo of the three since 2009.

Kidman, 56, who was married to Cruise between 1990 and 2001, doesn’t often talk about the children she shares with the actor. In a rare statement to Australian website Who, she highlighted that “her duty is to love them” no matter what.

Bella and Connor distanced themselves from Kidman after following in their father’s footsteps in Scientology, a religion of which Cruise is one of the main faces.

“I’m an example of that tolerance. No matter what your child does, they still have love. That child needs to know that there will always be love available, and I’m open here,” she added.

The former couple’s two children stayed away from the spotlight and did not pursue a career in cinema. Bella posts artwork on an Instagram account, while Connor often shares footage of his fishing trips on the social network.

Tom Cruise is still the father of Suri, the result of his marriage to Katie Holmes.

The young woman recently turned 18, but is not in contact with her father. In 2013, the actor declared that the actress divorced him to “protect Suri from Scientology”. The distance between Kidman and her two children with Tom would have been the motivation for Holmes to fight against the influence of the star’s belief in the creation of his heiress.
