Spider-Man 4, the fourth solo film starring Tobey Maguire, was canceled 14 years ago. But to this day, fans regret this decision and still hope that it ends up happening one day.

X-MEN, DAREDEVIL AND ALL DEADPOOL 3 PARTICIPATIONS

Like the fans, who was also upset with the cancellation of the Spider-Man film was actor Dylan Baker, who played Dr. Curt Connors in the original trilogy.

In an interview, he spoke about the disappointment of the film’s cancellation and how excited he was to finally take on Connors’ villainous side, transforming into the Lizard.

Check out:

I have to say, when Sam Raimi called me and said he was no longer going to direct Spider-Man 4, I was disappointed. He started telling me about the script he had written and was ready to do and ready to shoot, but he wasn’t going to be able to do it by the time they wanted it done.

I was letting the Lizard go out and see the world and it killed me. I would love to do that. Luckily, Rhys Ifans was fantastic and I had to say, ‘Very well done’, whilst wishing I had done it.

Will we have the chance to see the actor reprising the role in any future adventure through the Multiverse? Or is it better to let it go? Keep an eye on Legacy for more information and curiosities.
