It took three years for Godzilla and King Kong to return to the big screen, after the fight they had in Godzilla vs Kong, a film starring Millie Bobby Brown, Rebecca Hall and Alexander Skarsgard. After the titans faced each other in a spectacle that went around the world, both return, now united in a new battle, against an unknown monster.

Adam Wingard returns to direct Godzilla and Kong: The New Empire, the new installment of MonsterVerse. Hall and Brian Tyree Henry also return to the cast to follow the legendary characters of science fiction and action cinema. Since the first trailer was released, fans of these iconic figures have been wondering where the story was going, as it showed a new character who looked like a smaller version of Kong… could it be his son?
O MonsterVerse allowed us to see Godzilla in two solo installments, while Kong only in Kong: Skull Island. After seeing them together in the previous film and this one – now showing in theaters -, some may wonder if the universe will be expanded with more characters similar to them, or if they will have children.
