Federal University of Mato Grosso will host the 1st Plant Health Conference of Vale do Araguaia.

The Academic League of Plant Health (LAFVA) invites all rural producers, teachers, students and those interested in the area to CONFVA, 1st Plant Health Conference of Vale do Araguaia.

The event will take place at the Federal University of Mato Grosso, Araguaia II campus (Barra do Garças), at 8:00 on May 24, 2024. At the conference, there will be lectures by renowned professionals in the field, such as Dr. Thaís Ribeiro, Director Administrative of the Brazilian Society of Phytopathology, who will give a lecture on the main pathogens that attack large crops in Mato Grosso; Dr. Vinícius Silva, who will talk about soil management for high productivity in the Cerrado; Dr. Lauricio Moraes, who will share his knowledge about Plant Health and the challenges in the production environment in Brazil, and much more.

There will also be a prize draw and a round table at the end for possible questions on the topic. We look forward to everyone’s presence!
