The price per square meter in Santa Catarina continues to increase, even if this increase is small. The information comes from the FipeZap index, which evaluates the average property prices in several cities in Santa Catarina.

Of the five most expensive cities in Brazil to buy property, four are in Santa Catarina, and all of them registered an increase in the value per square meter. In Balneário Camboriú, leader of the ranking for more than a year, the increase was 0.48%, from R$12,903 to R$12,993. In second place, Itapema, the variation in one month was +0.45% (from R$12,766 to R$12,806).

There is a national upward trend, according to FipeZap
The increase, even if discreet, is a national trend. Based on a survey carried out in 50 Brazilian cities, the general increase was 0.66% in April. This increase was greater among properties with just one bedroom and three bedrooms (+0.52%), contrasting with the relatively smaller increase among units for sale that had two bedrooms (+0.43%).

In April, the General Market Price Index (IGP-M), according to a survey by Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV), had a monthly inflation of 0.31%, while the preview of the Consumer Price Index (IPCA) , according to the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE), given by IPCA-15, indicated an average increase of 0.21% in consumer prices.
