Mega-entrepreneur Luciano Hang, owner of the Havan chain of stores, distanced himself from politics and any controversy on social media (which were banned), after no longer enduring so much persecution from so-called ‘judicial activism’ and the series of lawsuits that ended up occurring from this situation.
But with the terrible events that have been occurring in Rio Grande do Sul and, now, Santa Catarina and southern Paraná, Hang was unable to remain ‘neutral’ and took the initiative to ‘show his face’ again, by deciding to provide an important support for rescuing victims and transporting donations.
To this end, the conservative businessman determined the use of his helicopters.
In a post on Havan’s official profile on X, the logistics were explained:
“Strength, Rio Grande do Sul!
Today one of Havan’s helicopters, sent to Rio Grande do Sul, managed to reach Lajeado, one of the municipalities hit by the biggest flood in the state’s history and where one of our megastores was unfortunately completely destroyed.
The aircraft was stopped in Porto Alegre, on Thursday, 2, due to bad weather conditions. It was loaded by Civil Defense with supplies, which were unloaded in Lajeado. The other Havan helicopter also went to the state of Rio Grande do Sul, but only managed to arrive this morning, Friday.
At the moment, our greatest concern and efforts are focused on helping the population of Rio Grande do Sul and our employees, who were also affected, losing everything they had. In the next few days, our boss, Luciano Hang, should travel to Rio Grande do Sul to closely monitor the situation.”
Images of the helicopter in action were recorded by a reporter from Jaraguá do Sul (SC), William Fritzke, who was on board.
Thus, Luciano Hang, who even has to deal with one of his stores practically submerged in Rio Grande do Sul, returns to the news in the worst-case scenario, but is firm in his intention to help the population. A lesson in your opponents!
