The federal government has increased the list of states that will have reinforcement of the National Force to guarantee the safety of candidates during the Unified National Competition, known as the “Enem of competitions”, whose tests will be administered this Sunday (5th). Now, Rio de Janeiro will also be included.

In total, the tests will be administered in 228 municipalities across the country. The Minister of Justice, Ricardo Lewandowski, had already granted authorization to reinforce security in the following states: Acre, Pará, Mato Grosso do Sul, Roraima, Rondônia, Mato Grosso, Maranhão and Amazonas.

Coordination

The National Secretariat of Public Security, of the Ministry of Justice, was responsible for coordinating this network, which includes the Federal Police (PF), the Federal Highway Police (PRF) and the Brazilian Intelligence Agency (Abin). In addition, there will be action by state security forces: Military Police, Civil Police, Fire Department and Civil Defense.

In addition to the inspiration in Enem, the Ministry of Management and Innovation, led by Esther Dweck, says that the government counts on the “expertise” of the security forces that already work during the National High School Exam (Enem).

Possible objections

The government also authorized the creation of a task force to contest any legal actions that could harm the holding of the Unified National Competition. There will be 121 members of the Attorney General’s Office (AGU) working from April 30th to May 9th in this mobilization.

The fear of judicialization is common in any public tender. The biggest concern occurs because the unified competition is an unprecedented model for hiring public employees.
