“It is worth remembering that the majority of the beneficiaries of our programs are women, almost all of whom are mothers and heads of families”, highlights the manager.

Prato Cheio is a benefit paid in a cycle of nine installments of R$250 to assist families in a temporary situation of food and nutritional insecurity. Once this period has ended, the holder must undergo a new socio-assistance assessment at the Social Assistance Reference Center (Cras) in their region, or at the unit where they are being monitored.

Benefit cards will be available for collection from May 2nd, considering the classification by the first letter of the beneficiary’s name, according to the following schedule:

* A – B: 2/5/2024
* C – E: 3/5/2024
* F – J: 6/5/2024

DF Social

In the case of DF Social, this month 68,127 families benefited, with an investment of R$ 10,280,890.00. In addition, 519 new cards were issued.

The program grants a monthly benefit of R$150 to families with a family income of up to half the minimum wage per person, registered in the Single Registry and residing in the Federal District. In this case, there is no need to request assistance. Families that meet the criteria are automatically included according to the prioritization criteria and budget availability. The DF Social program integrates the strategies of the Government of the Federal District (GDF) in combating poverty and guaranteeing rights.

Where to collect the card

To check whether you are among the new beneficiaries of the programs, you must consult the GDF Social website. On the portal, citizens can obtain information about the Banco de Brasília (BRB) branch where they will collect the card, and it is essential that the search is carried out only by the aid holder, upon presentation of an original document with photo and CPF.

The beneficiary has two months to withdraw and unblock their card. If the deadline is missed, the program will be terminated and the need for new social assistance services will be required.
