Santiago present at the 1st RS Social Development Seminar

Taking place in the city of Restinga Seca, the 1st Rio Grande do Sul Social Development Seminar was held with the aim of discussing social policies to address vulnerability. For three days, managers and technicians participated in workshops and lectures on social policies. Representing Santiago, municipal secretary Denise Cardoso participated in this event, together with a team of social workers. The meeting was attended by representatives from dozens of municipalities in Rio Grande do Sul and sought to debate the context and perspectives of social assistance and development policies in the State.

The Seminar was promoted by the Secretariat of Social Development (Sedes) in partnership with the School of Social Development, with the support of the Foundation for Assistance to the Disabled and Gifted of Rio Grande do Sul and the Special Protection Foundation (FPE).
