The largest open-air contemporary art museum in Latin America, the Inhotim Institute will enter into a partnership with Empresa Mineira de Comunicação (EMC), responsible for managing Rede Minas and Rádio Inconfidência, with the aim of promoting culture in Minas Gerais.

The agreement will be closed next Sunday (28) during an event in Brumadinho, in the Metropolitan Region of Belo Horizonte (RMBH), at 10 am.

This partnership will give more visibility to the Inhotim museum through a new space in the programming of the Rede Minas channel and Rádio Inconfidência. The institute will be able to promote exhibitions, cultural events and educational projects. Furthermore, the place could be transformed into a setting for some of these broadcasters’ special attractions.

Among the participants in this event are: the president of EMC, Gustavo Mendicino; the music curator at the Inhotim Institute, Leandro Oliveira, and the institution’s director of education, Gleyce Heitor. The celebration of the signing of the agreement will feature a concert by Orquestra Inhotim, at 10:45 am, with a performance by Repórter da Hora, from Rede Minas.

Mendicino highlights that the museum is recognized both in Brazil and the rest of the world for its valuable artistic and botanical collection. “The institute’s contribution to society meets the objectives of our public broadcasters, which work for education and culture. We are happy to be united to increasingly promote art in Minas Gerais”, he celebrates.
