Luana Piovani commented on the criticism she has received on social media for not having publicly praised her ex-partner and father of her children, Peter Scooby. The athlete is participating in a delegation of surfers who went to Rio Grande do Sul to help rescue victims of the floods, which are affecting the region.

In the Stories on her Instagram profile, she posted some of the comments directed at her regarding her stance on Scooby’s attitudes. “Waiting for you to talk bad about your ex now! Because when he does something to you, he talks, but when he does something good, he shuts up, right? Too convenient, right!” wrote one internet user. “Always tries to criticize Scooby! I want to see him praised”, commented another. “Congratulations, Pedro Scooby for the initiative”, praised another.

In response, Luana wrote: “My son has been in Rio for 20 days and still hasn’t gone to school. For the cows who think he’s great, get the password.”

In the following Stories, she also said that she has several friends in the South and that she was very shaken by the news. “Yesterday wasn’t very easy for me and I ended the day having a crying fit. Benzuco, my 8-year-old son, came to welcome me. I try to control it, but sometimes I can’t. The tears just start to come out and there’s nothing I can do… my son’s saint welcoming me… Liz is more mature, she knows that everything is organized,” she said.

“Then I went on social media to see my new friend Denise, from the NGO Colo de Mãe, who is doing work in the South and I was checking information with her and I ended up coming across such stupid, rude, absurd comments… And I had to swallow everything. It’s very desperate when we don’t know what to do and what actions to take”, he said.

She continued: “It made me want to start a tsunami again. But there’s no point… We don’t do each other’s part. He’s the one who does it. I’ll respect their choices. I’m working on my frustration here…. Today I already feel better…I’m able to understand emotionally that the choices were made and that they live their choices, which is to take good care of everything I propose to take good care of.”

Finally, she said that she was happy to see several artists helping the region and that she hopes everyone has “solidarity for our brothers in the South”.
