After the match, midfielder Thiago Dunha highlighted that Estrelão ended up being punished for entering the field carelessly and regretted that the club was unable to guarantee a national calendar for next year.

– We lacked attention right at the beginning of the game, we conceded the goal. There was a blackout in our team, unfortunately, we conceded the goals when we weren’t supposed to. And that affected our strategy a little. We were sad because we wanted next year’s calendar and we didn’t get it, which was the club’s objective – he said.

He, however, highlighted that the squad needs to get back on its feet and focus on competing in the Campeonato Brasileiro Série D, which starts this Saturday (27) for Alvirrubro.

– Now, it’s sad today, but tomorrow (Friday) we have to forget because we have the important championship in Series D to be able to do well, be able to play and be able to go to Series C – he added.

Rio Branco-AC is in group A1 of Series D alongside Humaitá, Manauara, Manaus, Porto Velho, Princesa do Solimões, São Raimundo-RR, Trem-AP.

Estrelão’s debut is this Saturday (27), against Manauara-AM, at the Ismael Benigno, Colina stadium, in Manaus, at 4pm (Brasília time).
